deciTAB or dTAB is a simple form of musical notation designed for ease of use.

It's main advantages are :-

1. The ability to be written on any paper without the aid of lines or staffs.

2. Easy to read

3. The actual notes played can be added, unlike normal TAB

It is ideal for beginners or for composers wishing to quickly write out their compositions on the fly.

It is not a replacement for TAB rather an extra tool to be used with TAB
